Anatomical Pathology Department offers the following services:
diagnostics of in vivo excised tissues and organs;
urgent tests during surgery (biopsy);
review of histological preparations from other medical institutions to unify morphological diagnoses;
intersection of blocks and revision of glass preparations;
oncocytological examination of swabs;
histopathologic, histological and cytological examination of the quality of clinical diagnostics of patients who died in hospital;
autopsy diagnostics – histopathologic examination to clarify the diagnosis and causes of death;
ceremonial services (storage in the refrigerator, washing, dressing, embalming of corpses, carrying out the ritual religious rites in the mourning hall).
For the first time in Kazakhstan, Gynecology Department of the Central Clinical Hospital JSC offers a new method of diagnostics and treatment of various types of infertility.
The method involves IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL TESTING of the endometrium (uterine mucosa) to identify in detail the reasons for the inability to get pregnant and selection of appropriate treatment (spontaneous pregnancy, preparation for IVF). The testing is carried by the method developed by D.O. Ott Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology (St. Petersburg, Russia), under the guidance of the world-class specialist, Prof. Dr. I.M. Kvetnoy, the Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation.
This method has helped thousands of Russian women to get pregnant, carry a pregnancy, and give birth to healthy children.
To implement these tasks, the Department:
constantly introduces new methods of intravital laboratory, cytological, and histological diagnostics aimed at improving the quality of clinical diagnostics in patients examined and treated at the hospital;
applies modern methods of histopathologic examination of the main pathological conditions causing the death of patients, and conducts a documentary examination of completeness of clinical diagnostics and treatment;
ensures constant interaction with, succession, and feedback from inpatient departments of the hospital to improve the quality of intravital and postmortem diagnostics of diseases in patients examined and treated at the hospital.
